Club De Facto

Club De Facto (CDF) is a new club aimed at creating and displaying art that takes literal meaning to things. The art that is submitted to the club will be in any visual style (meaning it is not poetry or prose). The art will have to take literal meaning to a subject or phrase.

HOORAY!

We have begun to grow already! We now have deviations by founders and members, and have started creating a database of all artwork to be submitted to our club! We would also like to welcome our new members:

Also we are looking for some sponsors so we can give a kick start to making our club ‘face’ look totally awesome. Please refer to the ‘SPONSORING US!!’ section of this journal for more information and advantages of sponsoring our community!

Once we have a subscription, a competition will be run for a CSS script for our journal. Winner will be featured as long as we use the CSS script for! The winner will have their CSS script as our journal background!

BECOME A MEMBER!!

Become a member today! All you have to do is add our icon to your journal or signature, and send a note to our account requesting to be a member, and to add us to your watch list! As soon as you become a member, we will feature you in our journal. Remember, all you have to do is be interested in what we as a community do, you don’t have to submit art to us.

SUBMIT YOUR ART TO US!!

When you have created your masterpiece and want to submit it to our club, send us a note containing the link to the artwork, and the ‘literal meaning,’ or ‘play on words,’ you are trying to portray. Our team will then take the necessary steps in displaying your work. All credit will go to you! We will even try to direct comments and favourites to the original submission (which should be in your account).

Each week, our team will select a few artworks to feature in our journal! Artwork featured will only be artwork that has been displayed in our gallery, so make sure to submit your art to us for a chance to feature!

Each week, our team will select a member of our club to feature. The artist’s page will be linked to, as well as 5 of their artworks that have impressed our team!

If anyone who would like to help us manage a dAmn chat room, please note this account! We want to eventually have a De Facto Bot (that displays artwork in CDF’s gallery submitted by our members). Club De Facto will appoint CDF chat moderators relative to the activity we get. The moderators that donate their time and skill in the chat will be counted as a sponsor.
